The Town of Carefree invites the community to its annual Memorial Day Tribute on Monday, May 26, from 8 to 9 a.m. at Cave Creek Memorial Cemetery (36400 N Pima Rd). This meaningful ceremony honors the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.The program will feature U.S. Army Captain Eric Spencer, a Bronze Star recipient, and Molly Zehnder of the Daughters of the American Revolution, along with patriotic performances by a local high school student and an invocation by Pastor Jim Noble.Boy Scout Troop 603 will present the colors, and Imprints of Honor students from Cactus Shadows High School will be in attendance.
