Carefree Lights Up!

Experience the magic of a small-town Christmas at Carefree Lights Up!

Join the Town of Carefree on Saturday, November 28, beginning at 5 p.m., for an evening of twinkling lights, festive music, and holiday cheer that feels straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie!

The celebration begins in the Carefree Desert Gardens with our annual 20-foot Christmas tree lighting, featuring holiday carols by Joyful Sounds, festive music from the Desert Hills Presbyterian Church Bell Ringers, and a special countdown led by Mayor John Crane.

Then, stroll over to the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion for free hot chocolate and a heartwarming Christmas concert beginning at 6 p.m.! Enjoy performances by the Desert Cactus Kickers, POP dance group, talented young vocalists from Jubilate Conservatory of Music and Desert Hills School of Music, and a special retelling of the Christmas story through readings and traditional carols presented by Desert Hills Presbyterian Church.

Bring your family, friends, and holiday spirit as we celebrate the season with the hometown charm that makes Carefree so special!
