• Heap calls Supreme Court decision ‘vindication' in first public remarks on election case - Sun City West Independent (yourvalley.net) — Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap told attendees at the Sun City West Republican Club that a recent Arizona Supreme Court ruling is a major victory in his funding and authority dispute with county supervisors. Speaking at Church on the Green, he said the unanimous decision restores a lower court order backing his office as the county heads into another closely watched election.
