• The ImproVables Oakwood Show Hits the Mark! (sunbirdnews.com) — Sun Lakes residents can look forward to The ImproVables returning this October, with shows set for Oct. 10 at Sun Lakes Country Club and Oct. 31 at Cottonwood. Their recent Oakwood performance drew big laughs, especially jokes tailored to “Sun Lakers,” and future ticket details will appear in the Splash and on the Sun Lakes Community Theatre website.

• Gangster mystery-comedy on tap in Sun Lakes (chandlernews.com) — Sun Lakes Community Theatre is bringing an immersive 1920s murder-mystery, “Death of a Gangster,” to the San Tan Ballroom on July 17–18, inviting locals to dress up and help solve the crime. The group is also actively recruiting Sun Lakes and nearby residents to join as members or auxiliary members, from actors to backstage helpers, for just $20 a year.
