• Burnt Well Rest Area restrooms to be closed much of Wednesday (einpresswire.com) — If you’re driving near Tonopah on I-10 today, expect the Burnt Well Rest Area’s restrooms, fountains, and vending machines to be closed from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastbound drivers can instead use businesses in Tonopah, while westbound travelers can stop at the Bouse Wash Rest Area.
   

• Man accused in murder-for-hire plot to silence witness faces armed robbery trial (kold.com) — A Phoenix man is now on trial for an armed robbery that prosecutors say preceded a deadly plot against a witness whose body was found in a burning car off I-10 in Tonopah in 2023. He and two others still face a separate upcoming trial in connection with that killing.
