Local at is best

Head's up Tuscon!

Tomorrow the HOCO Festival in Tucson kicks off until September 3 at Hotel Congress.

Having worked hard to keep ticket prices low while offering culturally relevant musical acts and community events, HOCO Fest is the premiere event of 2017 to offer the ultimate Tucson experience. Spreading its wings outside the realm of more than just a music festival, HOCO Fest offers an array of activities and events as eclectic as its musical line up.

From a lecture to a producer workshop, open studios and to vintage, record, and music and zine fairs, HOCO Fest has it all for a wide-ranging and diversified experience for the Labor Day Weekend. Being the rising star of America's great food cities and raking in prestigious accolades which include but aren't limited to the LA Times hailing "The Tucson culinary scene is on a rocket like trajectory" and being dubbed as the UNESCO Capital of Gastronomy, the sights, sounds, AND tastes of the town will be in full swing in the form of liquor tastings, specialized menus from acclaimed local restaurants and chefs and curated brunch performances. And what would every fun-filled day be without the perfect ending? The days go into the night amid the backdrop the Arizona's majestical desert day breaks with the Semiotic Sunrise Series

Afterparties presented by Ascetic House and Threshold Presents from 2am-sunrise daily Thursday-Sunday bestowing prime after hour electronic programming, transforming each evening into a non-binary experimental club affair.
