Kool Smiles Operation Troop Treats

During Tucson Dentist's Halloween Candy Exchange, Kids Can Send Deployed U.S. Troops a "Sweet" Reminder of Home

The local Kool Smiles dental office is holding its annual “Operation Troop Treats,” a Halloween candy exchange from October 28 to November 4, where kids and families can stop by the dental office and swap some of their candy for toys. The donated candy is sent to U.S. troops serving overseas, along with dental kits and other goodies, to give troops a sweet reminder of home.

From Saturday, Oct. 28 through Saturday, Nov. 4, children and families are encouraged to visit the following Kool Smiles dental office locations to exchange their Halloween candy for toys:

  • Kool Smiles Tucson East – 5504 E. 22nd Street, Tucson AZ, 85711, 520-748-3501
  • Kool Smiles Tucson – 2990 S. 6th Ave, Tucson AZ, 85713, 520-325-5665

All area families are invited to participate and candy can be donated any time during regular office hours. All donated candy will be sent in care packages to U.S. service members stationed overseas via Operation Gratitude.
