Supporters say approval keeps projects efficient and funds $64 million in city sustainability efforts, while opponents worry about the long contract length and want more public power options.

Member Of Murderous Tucson Gang Sentenced For RICO Conspiracy (arizonadailyindependent.com) — A Tucson gang member has been sentenced to nearly 28 years in federal prison for racketeering tied to the Western Hills Bloods, capping a decade-long case against the violent group. Prosecutors say the gang committed murders, drug trafficking, and intimidation in Tucson, including a killing near Tucson International Airport, and emphasize that law enforcement will continue targeting violent offenders in the city.
