Tucson Firefighters Rescue Dog From Apartment Fire
The couple who lived there was not home at the time; however, crews said they were able to save their furry friend.
TUCSON, AZ—Firefighters with the Tucson Fire Department rescued a dog Wednesday afternoon from a first-story apartment fire at the Nottinghill Apartments on N. Alvernon Way.
According to firefighters, they were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other nearby units. The people who lived in the apartment were not home at the time; however, crews said they were able to save their furry friend.

The American Red Cross has been called in to assist the dog and its two owners, a couple.
Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.
