Tucson police said the male victim, who has not been named, had a domestic relationship with both the female victim, who also has not been named, and Solomon-Martinez.

According to police reports, just before 4:45 p.m., officers responded to the apartment, where they found the two victims suffering from trauma consistent with being stabbed. They eventually were transported to a local hospital.

Officers found Solomon-Martinez inside the apartment, but she barricaded herself inside a bedroom and allegedly started a small fire, police said.

Members of the TPD SWAT and Hostage Negotiation teams and the Tucson Fire Department responded to the scene.

Eventually, members of the SWAT team and TFD entered the apartment. The TFD put out the fire, while the members of the SWAT team took Solomon-Martinez into custody without further incident.

Due to the domestic relationship the man allegedly had with both the victim and suspect, the Tucson Police Department Domestic Violence Unit was contacted and has continued to investigate the incident.
