• Central Arkansas Job Fair coming to Benton Event Center August 21st (mysaline.com) — A major Central Arkansas Job Fair is set for Friday, August 21 at the Benton Event Center, giving local job seekers and employers a free chance to connect. Hosted by the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce, the event runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with free admission for job hunters and free booths for chamber members. Prospective members can join by purchasing a $210 booth, which includes a one-year membership. 
• Guys and Dolls musical coming to Benton's Royal Theatre Aug 13-23 (mysaline.com) — Downtown Benton’s Royal Theatre is staging the classic musical Guys and Dolls August 13–23, with local actors in all the lead roles. Evening shows run Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets start at $20, with discounts for seniors, students, military, and youth, and advance purchase is encouraged due to special effects and PG-13 content.
