Bentonville Planning Commission approves site plan for new Walton STEM university (5newsonline.com) — Bentonville's Planning Commission has unanimously cleared the way for a new Walton-backed STEM university, approving its full campus development plan this week. The three-building campus, designed by the firm behind Crystal Bridges and the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, is slated to open to its first tuition-free class in 2029, pending remaining development approvals.
3. Photos: Chemung Co. team takes part in youth shooting championship (the-leader.com) — Bentonville recently hosted the NRA Youth Hunter Education Challenge national championship, drawing youth shooting teams like Sullivan's Sharp Shooters from Chemung County, New York. 5. Elon Musk's company's lawsuit blames Bentonville photographer for sexualizing images using AI took Grok (nwaonline.com) — A Bentonville-based photographer is being sued in federal court by Elon Musk's xAI, which alleges he used the Grok AI system to generate illegal sexual images of children in violation of its terms of service. The company says a CyberTip it filed ultimately reached Bentonville police and preceded the man's arrest, while related lawsuits against xAI continue in Arkansas and beyond.
