4. Drunk-driving Arkansas State Police trooper resigns after on-duty crash (arktimes.com) — An Arkansas State Police corporal from Camden, John M. Parker, resigned after being arrested on suspicion of DWI and careless driving following an on-duty crash near Monticello. His case comes as the agency faces broader scrutiny, including an upcoming meeting with the Arkansas Legislative Black Caucus over controversial dashcam footage from a separate traffic stop.
