• Centerton police captain dies in explosion at his farm in Gravette (eagleobserver.com) — Centerton is mourning Police Capt. Chris Kelley, who died May 30 after an explosion at his Gravette-area farm, where he was badly injured and later died at a hospital. Kelley, a respected leader who joined Centerton police in 2020 and previously served Gravette police and the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, is remembered for his service, kindness, and impact across the community.
