• Kidd sentenced to 33 years in prison for Pope Co. arson (kvom.com) — A Dover business destroyed in an August 2022 fire is at the center of a major arson case that just ended with a 33-year prison sentence for a Russellville man. A Pope County jury convicted him of arson and criminal mischief after a three-day trial, with prosecutors citing security camera footage and inconsistencies in his story as key evidence. An appeal is expected.
