District leaders plan to closely track caseloads, compliance, and how well on-campus medication support works.

Jonesboro police getting new protective vests through federal grant (kait8.com) — Jonesboro police officers are getting 38 new, lighter tactical vests thanks to a $42,358 federal grant aimed at improving officer safety on local streets. City leaders say the three-piece, rifle-rated vests will help protect officers from higher-caliber weapons while also keeping them cooler and more comfortable during long shifts in Jonesboro’s heat.
3. Jonesboro gathers feedback on Main Street lane reduction pilot program (kait8.com) — Downtown Jonesboro’s Main Street is in a six-month pilot that reduced traffic to one through lane between Washington and Cate, adding a drop-off and delivery lane. Walnut Ridge Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 1 in Craighead County Arkansas (arkansasradio.com) — Three Jonesboro residents were injured and a Walnut Ridge woman was killed in a head‑on crash Saturday night on Highway 1 South in rural Craighead County. The Jonesboro victims were taken to St. Bernards and NEA Baptist for treatment after their vehicle overturned. Arkansas State Police report clear weather and dry roads at the time.
