• Sheriff Watson: It's time to get serious about the future of housing prisoners. - (arkadelphian.com) — Hot Spring County’s jail in Malvern, built in 2009 with space for over 50 inmates, is one of several newer regional facilities being compared to Clark County’s aging, overcrowded jail. Clark County’s sheriff is warning officials that they’ve outgrown their 1985 jail and may eventually need a larger, costlier new facility, while continuing to send some prisoners to neighboring counties like Hot Spring.
