At a Little Rock announcement, college presidents and Rep. Jobless rates decline in most Arkansas metros in August (talkbusiness.net) — New federal data show unemployment falling across most Arkansas metro areas, including the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway region, where jobless numbers and rates both improved from last year. For North Little Rock residents, the report highlights steady nonfarm job growth and fewer people out of work, suggesting a relatively strong and tightening local labor market heading into fall.
