The board backed an agriculture program restructuring, Chromebook replacements, and summer work jobs, and handled multiple staff resignations and new hires that will shape Ozark classrooms next year. 
• Ozark Man Faces Multiple Charges (kvom.com) — An Ozark resident is facing multiple felony and related charges after an April incident near local schools in which a homeowner shot him in the leg during a confrontation on private property. Court records outline the allegations, the nearby daycare and school proximity, and the discovery of suspected drug paraphernalia, with the defendant now out on bond and due back in court.
• Marriage licenses issued in Washington County, May 21-27 (arkansasonline.com) — Ozark residents may be interested to know that one local couple, both from Ozark, is among those who recently applied for a marriage license in Washington County. The county clerk recorded dozens of applications from May 21-27, featuring couples from across Northwest Arkansas and neighboring states.
