Rogers' Victory Theater shows off new sound, lighting in grand reopening ceremony (nwaonline.com) ā Rogersā historic Victory Theater is reopening after tornado damage, with new sound, lighting, and refreshed backstage spaces ready for audiences. The venue officially returns April 25 with a screening of āSelma,ā followed by film festivals, concerts, and Arkansas Public Theatreās new season, giving Rogers residents plenty of reasons to revisit downtown.

2. Multiple RVs damaged in suspected arson at Benton County business (nwahomepage.com) ā Multiple RVs were vandalized and set on fire at Scottyās RVs near Highway 12 and Beaver Shores Road in the Prairie Creek area of Rogers, and Benton County deputies are investigating it as suspected arson. The owner says up to seven vehicles were destroyed or badly damaged, and investigators are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity that morning to contact Detective Madeline Green.

Bella Vista councilman Harp announces he'll seek mayor's seat (nwaonline.com) ā A Bella Vista city council member with more than seven years at the Rogers Fire Department is now running for Bella Vista mayor, emphasizing public safety and fiscal restraint. Travis Harp says his Rogers firefighting and EMS background shapes his priorities, from smoother permitting and better streets to stronger support for first responders and small businesses.

4. Sanders announces appointments - (arkadelphian.com) ā A Rogers resident, Susan Templeton, has been appointed to the Arkansas Early Childhood Commission, giving the city a voice in statewide decisions affecting young children and families. Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders also named dozens of other Arkansans to key boards overseeing law enforcement standards, health, finance, and more.
