• Driver Faces Felony Charges After 100 MPH Pursuit Ends At Searcy Mart (arkansasradio.com) — A high-speed police pursuit that began in Bald Knob ended when a car crashed into Searcy Mart at Race Avenue and North Maple Street, causing major damage and closing the store. A 27-year-old Massachusetts man was hospitalized, then booked into the White County Detention Center on multiple felony and traffic charges. Residents are urged to avoid the property and check before visiting the store.
   

• Memphis Grizzlies caravan packs the house for youth basketball at National Park College (hotsr.com) — The Memphis Grizzlies' youth basketball caravan, which has already packed a camp in Hot Springs, is also making in-state stops in Little Rock, Searcy and Jonesboro as it tours the Mid-South. Organizers say Arkansas fans are a big part of the team's base and hope these free skills camps will become annual events. Local families can expect drills, games, giveaways and a strong Grizzlies presence.
