• Sherwood police warn of scam involving former auto dealership (fox16.com) — Sherwood residents are being warned that scammers have reportedly taken over the old Wayne’s World Auto Sales website and are posing as the closed dealership to steal money and personal information. Police urge anyone contacted by supposed representatives not to send funds, to avoid sharing sensitive details, and to report any interactions to the Sherwood Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division. 
• Her Toddler Said She Saw Mommy In A Bag And There Was Blood On The Outside Of Her Front Door When She Vanished (chipchick.com) — A long-unsolved 1986 disappearance in nearby Gravel Ridge includes a chilling Sherwood connection: in 2009, a man found what looked like a shallow grave in woods just three miles from the missing woman’s ex-husband’s home, though nothing conclusive turned up. The case, involving disturbing statements from the victim’s toddler and blood evidence, remains open, and Pulaski County investigators still seek tips from anyone who might know more.
