• City of Stuttgart Ordinance No. 2044: Sewer Rate Schedule and Fee Changes (stuttgartdailyleader.com) — Stuttgart residents will see higher sewer bills starting Aug. 1, 2026, after the city council approved a multi-year rate and fee increase to fund wastewater system improvements. The ordinance details new monthly usage tiers, higher minimum charges through 2028, and updated tap, renewal, deposit, and penalty fees. Notices will be posted at several public locations around Stuttgart. 
• Ricebirds relocate practices as drone photos show turf progress (stuttgartdailyleader.com) — Stuttgart Ricebirds football practices have been moved to Meekins Middle School while turf installation delays keep Ned Moseley Stadium closed. With the 2026 season opener at Lonoke set for Aug. 28, a Stuttgart Junior High student is using drone photography to show residents how far the new field has progressed and offer rare public views of the project.
