• Man facing charges three years after alleged child sexual assault (kait8.com) — Trumann police say a man they began investigating in 2023 for allegedly abusing a child is now in custody and facing charges in Poinsett County. Authorities report he was arrested this week in Covington, Tennessee and brought back to Arkansas, following a nearly three-year investigation that started when the child’s mother contacted Trumann officers.
