📰 News we're reading
• Gas prices in Arkansas drop another 14 cents in the past week (ktlo.com) — Drivers in Van Buren are currently seeing the cheapest gas in Arkansas at $2.95 per gallon, well below the statewide average of $3.49. Prices have dropped sharply over the past month, though they remain higher than last year, and analysts warn global tensions could still nudge fuel costs back up.

• Charles 'Chuck' Neuman Sr. (talkbusiness.net) — Van Buren readers may know Heather Neuman Willett, whose father Charles “Chuck” Neuman Sr. of Fort Smith has passed away at 62. A Navy veteran, longtime postal worker, and dedicated volunteer, he is remembered for his devotion to family, especially raising his young grandson after a daughter’s death, with a private graveside service planned later.
