• Pamala Ann Mitchell (Cates), age 70 (anaturalstatefuneralservice.com) — A longtime central Arkansas resident who once called Ward home has passed away at age 70, with arrangements handled through a Jacksonville funeral home. Her life journey took her from England and Carlisle to Ward and finally Cabot, where she was known as a devoted Christian, caregiver, and loving matriarch to her husband, four sons, and ten grandchildren.
