The long list highlights high-achieving students from across Arkansas on both the Chancellor’s and Provost’s Lists, underscoring regional academic success close to home.
   

• Obituary: Harrell Bryant (whiterivernow.com) — Weiner residents are mourning the passing of 86-year-old Harrell Bryant, a longtime crop duster and Arkansas National Guard veteran who called Weiner home. He died June 2 in Harrisburg and is survived by his daughter in Jonesboro, his brother in Weiner, and one grandchild; the family will hold a private service later.
