• West Memphis administrators, staff to wear body cameras (thewynneprogress.com) — West Memphis school administrators and staff will begin wearing body cameras starting with the 2026-27 school year, aiming to increase transparency in interactions with students and families. District leaders say the technology, already used in larger nearby districts, is another tool to document encounters, while decisions about extending cameras to teachers are still pending. 
• Procter man arrested Wednesday on kidnapping, battery charges (arkansasonline.com) — Law enforcement say a Proctor man was arrested after a woman kidnapped from her Marion workplace was found badly beaten but expected to recover. The suspect is being held in Crittenden County jail and was set for a bond hearing in West Memphis District Court, tying the case directly to the local justice system.
