6 CA Pizza Spots Are Among Best In Country, Study Finds
A slew of California-based pizzerias were named among the best places to get a pie in the country.
A slew of California-based pizza joints are making some noise.
Six California pizza spots landed at No. 4 on the 2026 edition of 50 Top Pizza USA this month.
South Orange County-based pizzeria Truly Pizza also took home the Pizza of the Year honor for its Umami Mushroom Pizza, a white pie layered with roasted mushrooms, toasted sesame oil, a seed crust and bonito flakes.

Tied for second place on the list are two California pizzerias: Pizzeria Sei in Los Angeles and Tony's Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco.
Pizzeria Sei is known for its Japanese-Italian fusion pies and high-quality ingredients.

Tony's Pizza Napoletana is known for its classic Neapolitan pies and its three different types of ovens used to make a variety of pizza styles.
Truly Pizza in Dana Point was ranked fourth on the list, known for its specially-sourced artisanal pizzas made by hand.
Following Truly Pizza at No. 22 is Flour House in San Luis Obispo. The Italian restaurant is known for its Neapolitan style pizza.
Nardó in Huntington Beach took the 25th spot on the list, with Tribute Pizza in San Diego following at No. 38.
