Aggressive Bear Tears Through CA Airbnb As Guests Hide
A bear ransacked a home in Northern California after climbing through an open window in search of food.
TRUCKEE, CA — A particularly hungry and "aggressive" bear broke into an Airbnb house in Northern California this week, prompting guests to hide in other rooms, authorities said.
The bear crawled into the Truckee home through an open window, the California Highway Patrol said in a Facebook post. The bear charged at arriving deputies from the Placer County Sheriff's Office, the post said.
"Due to the aggressive nature of the bear," the guests already inside when the bear began ransacking the place for food were forced to lock the doors and hide as they waited for law enforcement.
