California Weather: 21 Photos Show Surreal Winter Over Last Month

Blizzards, floods and mudslides have plagued the Golden State over the last month, marking this winter one for the books.

CALIFORNIA — Snow-capped hills is not exactly what comes to mind when you think about the iconic Hollywood sign, however that's far from the most bizarre sight to see in California over the last month. From white-dusted Joshua trees and locals digging their cars out from under mounds of snow to mudslides eviscerating small communities, this winter has been far from normal for Californians.

We've rounded out 21 surreal photos taken of the Golden State this past month and while they may look like movie sets, they are as real as can be. Check them out below.
