Infant And Parents Among 4 Kidnapped From Merced County Business
Police shared two photos Monday night of a man believed to be the kidnapping suspect.

MERCED COUNTY, CA – Police are investigating the kidnapping of four missing people, including an eight-month-old baby and her parents, from a business in Merced County on Monday.
According to an initial Facebook statement posted by the Merced County Sheriff’s Office, detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating eight-month-old Aroohi Sheri, her mother, Jasleen Kaur, 27; her father, Jasdeep Singh, 36; and her uncle, Amandeep Singh, 39.
Authorities believe that all four were “taken against their will from a business in the 800 Block of South Highway 59.”

In an update post Monday night, the sheriff’s office shared two photos of a man believed to be the suspect. He is described as having light skin and a shaved head and was last seen wearing a hoodie.
The sheriff’s office said it believes the suspect is armed and dangerous and asked that the public not approach the suspect or victims and call 911.
