Restaurant Week 2022: Guide To The Best In California

CALIFORNIA — Typically a "slow month" in the food-service industry, January was dubbed years ago by California tourism officials as "Restaurant Month" — with restaurateurs encouraged to highlight their best cuisine with price specials.

The concept now has grown into "Restaurant Week" in cities statewide, with regions putting their local twists on the promo.

JAN.: "Together for Hayward" - Coinciding with California Restaurant Month, restaurant e-gift cards are for sale, while supplies last, to support local eateries. Sold in denominations from $20 to $100 to use at participating restaurants, with 50 percent bonus card to use or share with friend. Info here.

AUG. 7-14: Annual LB Burger Week & Dining Deals. Another burger celebration — this one with $5, $10, $15 & $20 one-of-a-kind burgers at participating restaurants.
