Agoura Hills Community Services Coalition Asks Residents to Participate in "Quality of Life" Survey

SHORT SURVEY WILL HELP COALITION IMPROVE COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS

The City of Agoura Hills’ Community Services Coalition (CSC) is conducting an online survey to obtain residents’ feedback on issues pertaining to the quality of life in their city. The 12-question survey allows residents to comment on identified topic areas as well as add their own comments and/or suggestions. “We know sidewalks have cracks and bike paths are needed, but for the Coalition, the goal of the survey is to learn from residents what improvements in social services and outreach they’d like to see,” said Russ Sharp, member of the CSC.

CSC was formed in 2012 to address the changing dynamics of the local population and the issues that face families today. CSC helped create such programs as the Teen Garage, providing a safe hangout for teens, and a senior informative lecture series for the growing retirement population. Coalition members Joice Corridori, Sue Lepisto, Russ Sharp and San Slawson, are active, long time residents who have a collective background in law enforcement, education, and psychology.

“We’d like to hear directly from residents in order to focus our efforts where we can best serve the community,” said CSC member San Slawson. Through the survey, the coalition hopes to identify the relevant issues affecting residents and address them proactively.
