Agoura Hills Plans Reyes Adobe Days For Oct. 6-8

The 19th annual community gathering includes a weekend full of events.

AGOURA HILLS, CA — Plenty of fun is planned for this weekend as part of the city's 19th annual Reyes Adobe Days.

Set for Oct. 6-8, the three-day festival at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site & Park includes events for kids, families and adults. The free festival typically attracts over 10,000 attendees, according to organizers.

On Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. the 21+ Night at the Adobe will feature art, music, wine, beer, food and shopping.

The one-mile RAD Run will begin and end at the park at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The Reyes Adobe Days parade follows at 10 a.m. The one-mile route begins at Reyes Adobe Road and Lake Lindero Drive and ends at the Reyes Adobe Historical Site.

With a theme of "All Roads Lead to Music," Lindero Canyon Middle School band director Matt McKagan will serve as grand marshal.

The Day at the Adobe festival runs Saturday and Sunday and includes Rancho-themed crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, Wings of Discovery animal exhibit, a blacksmith and a drum circle.

Music is planned throughout both days. Savor, a tribute to Santana, will play from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Reloaded, a tribute to Lynard Skynard, will play from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
