Today's riddle: How do billboards talk? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Red Cross: Patients are counting on blood and platelet donors to give now (redcross.org) — Local residents can donate blood in Agoura Hills at Hampton Inn on October 20 and November 5, and at Agoura Bible Fellowship on October 25, helping shore up the Red Cross supply ahead of unpredictable fall weather. Appointments are encouraged, and donors this season can receive small gift‑card rewards while supporting patients across the region.
• El Niño could delay opening of wildlife crossing over 101 Freeway in Agoura Hills (abc7.com) — Work on the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing over the 101 in Agoura Hills may be pushed past its planned December opening because El Niño rains could turn remaining soil‑moving into a muddy mess. Crews still must relocate millions of cubic feet of dirt, and any delay would slow long‑awaited efforts to reconnect mountain lion and other wildlife habitats in the Santa Monica Mountains.
