AGOURA HILLS, CA — HGTV’s Christina Haack described the famed Bachelor Mansion as “rundown” in a video clip the network posted on its Instagram account ahead of Monday’s episode of “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” on which Haack appeared as a guest judge.

"The mansion is a little bit rundown, guys,” Haack, who stars on HGTV’s “The Flip Off,” said in the video. “I thought it was going to be more mansion-esque. Like, I pictured like a Spanish villa. It's definitely in need of this renovation."

After serving as the backdrop for years of drama, the Bachelor Mansion is front and center in “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” which premiered earlier this month and features former contestants from “The Bachelor” and its many spinoffs competing as they give the Agoura Hills property what HGTV in a news release described as “a long overdue makeover.”
