"Birds of Tanzania" with the Ventura County Bird Club

Join Havasi Wilderness Foundation for a special presentation on the Birds of Tanzania this Thursday, June 27th at 7:00pm at the Ventura County Bird Club’s monthly meeting.  During this presentation, we will take you on a visual journey into some of the country’s top national parks, and identify many common and rare bird species of these unique ecosystems.

Tanzania, a country in East Africa, is world-renowned for its abundance and diversity of wildlife.  It is home to some of the world’s most acclaimed and iconic national parks, such as the legendary Serengeti.  During this presentation, we will take you through a handful of these parks and explore the region’s diverse and exotic bird life.

The Ventura County Bird Club is a non-profit organization founded in 1980 to promote and educate members and the public of proper care for all birds.

The purpose of the Ventura County Bird Club is to educate and inform members at a general level in the proper care and feeding of exotic birds and in their conservation. The Club strives to keep members informed of the latest news about birds. Each month, the Club presents an educational program at the general meeting.  You don’t have to be a member to attend this meeting: everyone is welcome.
