Blog Post: I am a 'Nudge' for a Good Cause

Hi, It’s me again… one more time… last time. Yes, I am a nudge and proud of it. (Definition of the term " Nudge" below) I'm proud because I am nudging for a cause that deserves our sacrifice and commitment. 

On Sunday, March 25, I'll be participating for the seventh year in a row, at the . The Annual 5k walk goal is to raise funds and community  awareness for the Friendship Circle, an organization that helps individuals with special needs. 

I challenge you to do more than just give. I challenge you to do what I and so many other have done–visit this program, visit these children–and see the devotion these teens have for these special kids. Your heart will not be filled with compassion and pity, it will instead be filled with love, hope, warmth and inspiration. You’ll get to see these kids not as disabled or handicapped children but as angels whose smiles take us to the heavens and back.

If you can’t visit in person, watch some of the Friendship videos and you’ll see what I mean, and pretty soon, you’ll be a nudge, too, just like me! 

It is not for me and you to ask why when it comes to special needs children, it is for you and me to ask what we must do. So I will nudge… and nudge… and nudge once more. Call it “the nudge of love."              

In fact, I don’t care what you call it, so long as you respond. (Many of you have responded already and donated to the general team, I know! so ignore me. AGAIN).
