Blog: Volunteer For Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills; Only a Few Spots Left!

The 28^th annual Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills is only three weeks away! Can you believe it? Are you signed up to run one of the six races?  If not, how about volunteering?

We need enthusiastic community members to help along the different routes, making sure the runners follow the route and keeping them safe from cars. Students and adults have been signing up to fill over 450 spots. We’re down to just a handful left!  

Enjoy the cool sunshine in either Old Agoura or along Kanan, south of the freeway. We have many people who are volunteering with a friend or family member. What a nice way to spend a few hours on a spring morning! 

Students earn community service hours (this event is pre-approved for LVUSD students). Every year so many runners tell us how much they appreciated the encouragement and smiles from the volunteers as they ran past.

Then, after your shift, join the party at the race expo, voted the area’s best every year since 2002! It’s located at across the street from Agoura High’s football stadium. There’s food, music, children’s activities, health and fitness-related vendors…something for everyone!
