Tonight, I attended a great event. The 91301 Cultural Arts Council put on the first of a four film series with the showing of I AM NANCY by Heather Langenkamp. Heather played Nancy in Nightmare on Elm Street.
The documentary was well directed and edited and had a great message. Conquer your fears - BE NANCY. The Q&A was interesting and I must say the red carpet at the entrance of the Regency Theaters was a nice touch.
So, I had planned to stay for the showing of Nightmare on Elm Street at the end of the evening but the minute I heard the wonderful theme song for I AM NANCY, I started to shudder. By the end of the documentary, I knew if I stayed to watch Nightmare, I wouldn't sleep tonight.

That movie still scares me after all these years. To see it on the big screen would have been fantastic in a very frightening kind of way. Maybe I will catch it on television this weekend. My heartfelt thanks to the 91301, the city of Agoura Hills and our continually active Parks and Rec department.
