Blog Post: The Calm of the Storm - Naples, Italy

Naples, Italy is supposed to get hammered by rain, hail, and snow this weekend. In fact, I could hear the waves CRASHING outside my window last night. I wanted to get out before it got really bad to get some photos. I almost went back to the car after the wind blew me over once and hail slapped my face. I ditched the tripod and started wading in to the icy water because the sky had just cleared and looked majestic. I know, sounds dramatic, but I really wanted to hold out for those inevitable 7 or so minutes of clear skies.

In the course of 30 minutes yesterday afternoon:

Knocked over by wind TWICE

Hailed on TWICE

Rained on THE REST OF THE TIME

Soaked by waves SIX TIMES

Cleaned the camera/lens COUNTLESS TIMES

Rolled my ankle ONCE
