Dole Packaged Foods Donates Healthy Snacks to Triunfo YMCA Childcare Program

Kids in the Triunfo YMCA before-and-after-school childcare program are enjoying healthy snacks this school year thanks to Dole Packaged Foods. Dole is providing multiple cases of Dole Fruit Bowls to the Y’s elementary school childcare sites in Agoura Hills, Oak Park and Westlake Village.

The Dole Fruit Bowls are kid favorites: diced peaches, diced pears, pineapple tidbits, mixed fruit and mandarins. “Our kids at the sites love the Dole snacks and always ask for seconds,” says Chrissy Withers, Triunfo YMCA associate executive director. “The donation gives students healthy choices and a chance to try different tastes.”

Triunfo YMCA childcare sites are located in Agoura Hills at Willow, Yerba Buena and Sumac elementary schools and in Westlake Village at White Oak Elementary School.

“Dole Packaged Foods’ enormous generosity to the Triunfo Y is truly amazing and very much appreciated,” says Withers. “Dole’s donation means a huge savings for our childcare budget.”
