Get ready to indulge in the ultimate four-wheeling gourmet adventure for a cause. Back by popular demand, the third annual Agoura Munch Madness, gets underway Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 11:00am to 6:00pm with more than a dozen of LA’s top food trucks, live entertainment, a Munch & Crunch Contest, face painting, prizes, and more at the campus of Agoura High School. Special guest Kenton Duty of Disney Channel’s popular “Shake It Up!” makes an afternoon appearance. All proceeds benefit education.
The gourmet grubfest boasts the city’s most Twitter-famous trucks such as: The Ludo Truck, Ragin Cajun, Frysmith, India Jones, Me So Hungry, Cousins Maine Lobster, Mambo Juice, Sky Gourmet Tacos, and Sweet Arleens, among others. Adding to the festivities, “Battle of the Bands” winners will serve up a full menu of live concert entertainment throughout the day.

Admission is only $5 in advance on-line or $7 (cash) at the gate, and kids 4 & under are free. Food truck tastes are sold separately. Conveniently located one mile off the 101 Freeway at 28545 Driver Avenue, Agoura High School with its park-like setting, offers the ideal venue with easy access and free parking.
Last year thousands attended the fundraising fete with proceeds benefiting the Agoura High School International Baccalaureate program. KTLA Morning News called it “a great event for a great bunch of kids” while NBC.com said, “Get your food-truck-y fill at Agoura Munch Madness.”
Brainchild of active parents, faculty and students, Agoura Munch Madness represents the essence of what Agoura High’s International Baccalaureate (IB) program is all about – thinking out of the box to impact and enrich the lives of others. By creating an appetite for fun, organizers are striving to raise enough money to keep the IB program thriving in spite of state budget cuts. Students and parents will be working together and volunteering their help at the event. “The IB program is about engaging students with a worldly perspective to help instill a lifelong passion for learning,” says Larry Misel, Principal of Agoura High School. “Proceeds from this event will help ensure that the program will remain a viable option for years to come.”
