Los Robles Master Chorale will hold auditions for new singers for the 2012-2013 concert season. Auditions, by appointment, will take place on Monday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 20 from 4:30-10:00 pm. All voice parts are welcome. You must be 17 years or older, and have previous choral experience and some music reading ability.
Auditions with artistic director Lesley Leighton will be private and last approximately 15 minutes. Singers should prepare a solo of no more than 3 minutes, and be prepared to sing “America,” vocalize, sing in a quartet, and demonstrate their level of ability to sight-read music. Membership in the LRMC small ensemble, êkō, and solos are open to anyone accepted for membership in the chorale. Singers should advise the scheduler of interest in these additional opportunities when making an audition appointment.
