Faculty Artists Recital

Music faculty members Daniel Geeting (clarinet), Melissa Phelps (violin) and Eric Kinsley (piano) present a program of chamber music works. The program includes Darius Milhaud’s “Caprice,” “Viktor’s Tale” by John Williams from the motion picture “The Terminal,” the rarely heard “Sonata,” Opus 128 by 20th-century Italian composer Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Mozart’s popular “Trio VII” in E Flat Major for clarinet, viola and piano. The latter piece may have been composed in, of all places, “der Kegelstatt” (a bowling alley).
