Know the Score: Title IX Community Forum

Do you “Know the Score”? Local coaches, athletes and others will participate in a panel discussion on Title IX and its impact on educational opportunities for young women in the Conejo Valley and beyond. Attorney Elizabeth Kristen will lead the discussion.

Kristen is Director of the Gender Equity Program and Senior Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society - Employment Law Center in San Francisco, where she serves as Director of the Title IX K-12 Equality Project. She has litigated numerous cases involving Title IX compliance issues for high school athletes in California.

An active member of the Hayward-Castro Valley Branch of AAUW, Kristen has been working with AAUW to implement Know the Score, a program to improve Title IX compliance in our communities.

Admission is free. Co-sponsored by CLU’s Center for Equality and Justice and the Thousand Oaks Branch of AAUW. Limited parking is available in this parking lot. Additional parking is available in the parking lots on Mountclef Boulevard north and south of Olsen Road. Street parking is by permit only Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
