Las Posadas

California Lutheran University hosts this festive reenactment of the Mexican tradition that dates back to the 16th century. We will travel with candles in hand from the Pavilion and through the residence halls as Mary and Joseph travel by donkey in search of shelter for the birth of their Son. The procession ends at the Lundring Events Center where the evening concludes with a piñata, Mexican hot chocolate, and pan dulce (sweet breads).

Admission is free. Sponsored by Multicultural Programs and International Student Services, the Latin American Student Organization (LASO) and the Spanish Department. For more information, call Multicultural Programs at 805-493-3489.
