New West Symphony Masterpiece Series Concert

This weekend the New West Symphony will present Variations, its April Masterpiece Series concert featuring the music of Haydn and Tchaikovsky.  The program includes Haydn's delightful Symphony No. 88 in G Major; Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme for Cello & Orchestra featuring cellist Andrew Janss as guest artist; and Tchaikovsky's powerful Symphony No. 5.

The orchestra will be led by guest conductor Marcelo Lehninger, assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Ticket-holders are invited to attend a free, 30-minute pre-concert talk, Hear and Now Live! one hour prior to curtain.  This lively and informative session provides insight into the music being performed on the program, and takes place prior to each of the three performances.
