The free event begins with a discussion/Q&A of the book and movie True Grit, led by Kim Darby (who played the role of Maddie Ross in the original film featuring John Wayne). Following is a screening of the original movie at the newly renovated Regency Theater in Agoura Hills. Local western artists will have their artwork on display in the lobby of the theater before the show.
